We’re so excited to welcome you to Great Smoky Mountain Vista Campground, a brand-new destination for campers, families, and full-time RVers looking for a peaceful mountain getaway in Newport, Tennessee. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or planning a longer escape, here’s everything you need to know about what to expect when you visit.
A Campground with a View
Tucked between the Smoky and English Mountains, our campground offers stunning panoramic views you’ll want to wake up to every day. It’s a peaceful, scenic retreat where you can slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with the outdoors.
All-New RV Sites
We’re opening in March 2025 with our first 18 RV sites, and every one of them is designed with comfort, space, and ease in mind. Each site includes:
- Full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer)
- Picnic table and fire ring
- Easy pull-in/pull-out access
- WiFi throughout the campground
We’ve built these sites with both short-term and long-term stays in mind — perfect for families, weekenders, and full-time RVers alike.

Located in the heart of Newport, TN, we’re just a short drive from some of East Tennessee’s best outdoor adventures. Whether you’re into hiking, tubing, fishing, or scenic drives, you’ll be close to it all — including:
