One Shared Dream
Four couples from Mississippi, Wisconsin, Florida, and North Carolina came together in East Tennessee with a shared love for the outdoors, a strong sense of family, and a desire to build something meaningful. What started as a vision has grown into a campground designed to be more than just a place to park an RV.
We believe camping should be about connection — with nature, with loved ones, and with moments that turn into lasting memories.
We’re not just a business — we’re neighbors, friends, and fellow campers who happen to have built something special right here in the heart of the Smokies. Every guest that pulls in is welcomed as part of the GSMVC family.

The Smoky Mountains are one of the most beautiful regions in the country, yet many campgrounds feel rushed, crowded, or overly commercial. We wanted to create something different — a calm, scenic basecamp where guests can explore the area during the day and return to a quiet, comfortable retreat in the evening.

Great Smoky Mountain Vista Campground is continually evolving. As we grow, our focus remains on preserving the natural beauty of the property while thoughtfully expanding our offerings to better serve our guests.
We opened in 2025 with 13 full hookup sites and 5 water/electric sites. We also have a private bathhouse to offer to our guests. Whether you’re here for a night, a week, or multiple months GSMVC offers the comfort of full hookups and the serenity of a mountain retreat.
